June?! What happened to May?

You would think that time would move much slower since we all had to stay home to stay safe. Alas no, we have been very busy getting our home ready for your return this summer. First and foremost we have been spending our time cleaning and not just any cleaning but sanitizing and disinfecting just about everything. Now don’t get me wrong, we clean every time a guest leaves but CORONA has caused us to raise the bar even higher. We are sanitizing all soft surface items such as linens, fabric on furniture and even our carpets. So it goes without says that we are disinfecting all hard surfaces as well with hospital grade disinfectant (I have to wear gloves to protect my hands with this stuff). Secondly, we have provided anti-bacterial soap and hand sanitizer in each room. Felt that we could do more so we set up a small sanitation station at the front door as seen in our blog picture. I have masks on that station but we personally are mask optional. And lastly for the safety and well-being of all our guests, we ask that if you don’t feel good and think you might be falling ill; please stay home. We will work with you to find another date for you to visit us.

Ok, so on to other news!

The Peach Festival is a GO! and so is the Palisade Wine Festival. Not only that but the wineries are all starting to open. Now is a great time to visit because we are slow for the moment but expect to see a rush in the next month.
